What marketing strategy is suitable for a small real estate business ?

Posted by admin on February 4th, 2010 and filed under marketing strategy | 3 Comments »

I’m on the way for starting a small real estate business in a gulf country ( Bahrain ), so what is the best marketing strategy which is suitable for a small business ?.. starting with real estate like residentail flats and offices for rent ..

What is the best effective advertising strategy, besides newspapers and SMS ?

Real estate business is booming …. but prices have gone very high …

What do you think ? Taking in consideration a small business with low budget for marketing and advertising

I would say, that the best way to generate prospects quickly and cheaply would be to hold classes in your local community or business groups on how prospective clients can save a lot of Dinars on buying and selling their property. Be the "go to guy" so people recognize you as an expert in the field.

Develop brochures with the main points of your presentation to hand out for free during the seminars. Have something to sell when the seminar is concluded and also on the second contact via email or regular post.

Here’s an incredible resource of tight-budget priced information products that can help really make your R.E. business take-off to new heights!

What is the best web site/web service for finding SENIOR LEVEL jobs in marketing strategy and analytics?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2010 and filed under marketing strategy | 1 Comment »

Monster, Career Builder and the like seem only good for junior or mid level positions. My specialty is actually pricing strategy, but a broader search area I use is market strategy, or market analytics. Looking for an effective site (Ladders, or ExecU Net type) that focuses on Senior Director or VP level positions.

Management Recruiters does a good job.

Also, if you’re at that level, you should be networking to get your next job – that’s how I’ve gotten my last 3. Mostly working trade shows, but not "looking for work", just looking to network.

Is it legitimate questions or is it a marketing strategy?

Posted by admin on January 25th, 2010 and filed under marketing strategy | 9 Comments »

Lately I’ve noticed a lot of questions on Motorcycles tend to be on India-made bikes. Is the posters of these questions asking legitimate questions or is it a marketing strategy designed to make the reader aware of these motorcycles and thereby hopefully creating a export demand for these machines?

India has the largest middle class in the world. It is upwardly mobile, as opposed to ‘rich’ nations like the US and UK which seem now to be in an inexorable downhill slide. So it stands to reason that there are potentially more Indians on this forum than Americans or Brits or Aussies. The Indian motorcycle industry also is growing at this point, while US and Brit companies are stagnating. That’s why you see so many questions about Indian bikes.

Here in California where I live, none of these bikes are even available, except the Bajaj scooter (actually an old Vespa made under license). There is no market here for 100cc bikes, in fact there’s only one 250cc street bike that I know of, the Ninja 250. Everything else is 500cc or above. I think this is true all over the US. Motorcycles here are seen (and marketed) as a recreational device, not a transportation device.

what marketing strategy are controversial to talk about in a research paper?

Posted by admin on January 21st, 2010 and filed under marketing strategy | 1 Comment »

i’m writing a 10 page paper on marketing strategies but after doing a little research i feel like my topic is weak… i first wanted to compare and contrast internet and television marketing and conclude which is better, but now i feel like they are both similar and not much to talk about….

can anyone help me figure out something more CONTROVERSIAL? anything to do with marketing a product. thanks!

Research guerrilla marketing. In many cases it flirts with the ethical boundaries of marketing. you could pick several guerrilla campaigns and go from there. a couple campaigns I would look up are:

Reverse graffiti, and English guy that goes by the name of "Moose" has done work for Green Works cleaners and Smirnoff. Now he is in some hot water for "graffiti"

Aqua Team Hunger Force movie promotions in Boston ended in a 2 million dollar fine being paid because someone thought the lightbrites they where hanging were bombs.

Or you could go with the old sex in advertising debate.

hope this helps

What marketing strategy/tatics would be recommanded for internet based sites?

Posted by admin on January 19th, 2010 and filed under marketing strategy | 3 Comments »

many business are now web based for example blogging and many more. but marketing strategy for physical shops or companies somewhat seem to be different from those that is internet based. so what sort marketing strategy are there for web based?

The problem with most physical shops, well here anyways, are that they know they need a website, they just don’t understand why. They don’t see it as a potentially potent marketing channel, but rather as another consumer touch point.

Having a website isn’t a marketing strategy though, finding targeted website traffic and pulling them to your website is where marketing comes in. The most popular online marketing tools are:

Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Marketing
Social Media Optimization
Pay Per Click Campaigns
Email Marketing Campaigns
Digital Advertising and Adserving

With any marketing strategy, it is imperative that all tactics employed run systematically. They should compliment each other and speak one clear marketing message, although they might pull consumers from different concerns of the web, they should be designed to work together and this is known as integrated marketing communications, IMC.

All brands should use their conventional above the line and below the line communication strategies, but they should ALSO invest in a digital strategy. Your above the line communication can increase brand awareness, your below the line can get consumers to the point of purchase, and your digital can do both.
