What steps must I take to sell my product at local guitar shops?
I created a new product that I’d like to sell at small guitar shops. I’ve finished the product, set up an LLC and a bank account, and created some sales documents. When selling to a retailer, do I need to collect their tax ID (EIN)? If so, what do I do with it?
The first step is to contact the Small Business Development Center. They will give you advice on how to run the business. You should create a business plan as soon as possible. The business plan will include a marketing plan. Do a google search to find the office nearest you.
