When does the red star TX Piscium vary in brightness?
When does the red star TX Piscium vary in brightness and when will the western fish be up next to up Mira?
TX Piscium, also known as 19 Piscium (Flamsteed Number) is a known irregular variable star which varies by a few tenths of a magnitude, from 4.8 to 5.6
It is never as bright as Mira (Mira means The Wonderful Star) when Mira is at it’s brightest.
Light curves can be found on the AAVSO site amongst others.
Being an irregular variable star, light curve predictions for it are not accurate.
It is a carbon star and is one of the the reddest stars known,
