Originally, I am from Beaufort, South Carolina, a small coastal town known for sunshine, sandbars, and shrimp. In 2013 I decided I needed mountains in my life so I moved west, to Jackson, Wyoming.

In 2017 I quit my job and traveled the world for six months. I spent time in France, Italy, Morocco, and Nepal. I have always had a passion for photography but this particular trip inspired me to pursue photography more seriously.

In Nepal we visited Chitwan National Park where we spent four days looking for wild rhinos, elephants, and tigers. This is where my real interest in wildlife photography began. Granted, I only had a small point and shoot camera, but I was bitten by the bug.

After returning home to Jackson, WY, I upgraded my camera and devoted all of my spare time to photographing the local wildlife. I could think of no better place to be than quietly watching a bull moose graze the sage flats, or watching a red fox hunt and pounce in a snowy field.
